Tamari roasted nut mix

This nut mix incorporates flavours of chilli and lime. It has a savoury note that is sure to keep you going back for another handful. This is a great #realfoodapproach option for a savoury snack and is way better than something you might purchase from the supermarket. Please remember to store this in the fridge once cooled to prevent the mixture oxidised and going rancid.


  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts

  • 1/2 cup almonds

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1 TBL tamari

  • Zest and juice of one lime

  • Good pinch of chilli flakes.


1. Preheat oven to 140C

2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly

3. Cook in oven for around 40-45 minutes stirring even 15 minutes to prevent burning

4. Leave to cool ( as it cools mixture will crisp up) and then store in the fridge

5. Eat as you desire
