MCT Coffee recipes

MCT COFFEE STANDARD

Ingredients:

1 Standard Long black ( approx. 180-230ml)

1 Tablespoon (20 grams) of butter /ghee

1 tablespoon of MCT

Method

1. If using a blender place a little hot water in there to pre warm

2. Place all ingredients in a blender or use a hand blender and blend until combined

3. Optional add ins: Collagen, vanilla powder, gelatin, cinnamon, turmeric, medicinal mushrooms



SHORT FAT BLACK

Ingredients

1 Short black/ strong espresso (60ml is a good start)

1 tablespoon (20 grams) of butter or ghee

1 tablespoon of MCT oil

Method

1. If using a blender place a little hot water in there to pre warm

2. Place all ingredients in a blender or use a hand blender and blend until combined

3. Optional add ins: Collagen, vanilla powder, gelatin, cinnamon, turmeric, medicinal mushrooms

MCT HOT CACAO

Ingredients

2 teaspoons of cacao powder

200ml hot water

1 tablespoon (20 grams) of butter/ghee

1 tablespoon of MCT oil

Method

1. If using a blender place a little hot water in there to pre warm

2. Place all ingredients in a blender or use a hand blender and blend until combined

3. Optional add ins: Collagen, vanilla powder, gelatin, cinnamon, turmeric, medicinal mushrooms, ½-1 tsp rice malt syrup/maple syrup/ sweetener of choice


NO BLENDER NO WORRIES MCT COFFEE

Ingredients

1 Long or Short black

1 tablespoon of MCT Oil

Method

1. Make coffee at your own preference

2. Take your tablespoon of MCT oil

3. Drink coffee and enjoy


Notes:

Feel free to substitute ghee or a dairy free option use coconut butter to replace the butter in the above recipes

If you have never used MCT oil please start with 1 teaspoon for a few days and gradually build your dose by the teaspoon every few days until you reach a tablespoon
